Job Description / Responsibilities : Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance Company is seeking a detail-oriented communications professional to work on a contract basis on a major product launch. The time commitment is 40-45 hours per week starting immediately and lasting through the end of 2008. Possible extension through 2009. Qualifications include: Expert knowledge in communications development Ability to manage multiple projects and logistics of communications execution Ability to facilitate interviews, surveys, management meetings and summarize results Working knowledge of change management methodologies General HR knowledge and understanding of employment laws

Position Title : Coordinator, Business Development

Job Description / Responsibilities : Supports execution of a specific public relations and marketing plan designed to increase awareness of Insight Business Services throughout its footprint.
Essential Functions: Work with Senior Manager on presentation materials and collateral; Create and maintain database of territory-wide business and community groups; Maintain positive, on-going communications with local organizations and IBS stakeholders in each district; Manage scheduling of Business Development events, including monthly calendar; Coordinate attendance at events with IBS Account Executives in all districts; Assist in event pre-planning and follow-up; Prepare press releases and informational material for local distribution; Attend daily/weekly meetings; Other duties as assigned.
Required skills/Qualifications/Education : Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree essential with specialization in journalism, communications or public relations; 2 years of experience in journalism, event management or public relations are required; Self motivated; Ability to multi-task; Ability to communicate with effectively with personnel at all levels; Experience with public speaking is essential; Considerable knowledge of public relations techniques and practices; Solid aptitude for technology including PC operation; Solid aptitude of software applications: MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; Must possess a valid driver’s license; Some travel required.
